Our Ministries

Family Ministries walk alongside parents and caregivers to nurture faith in children and youth, creating welcoming, Christ-centered spaces where families grow together through Scripture, community, worship and service.

Adult Discipleship comprises ministries for adults to learn and grow in Scripture, Prayer, Community and Service, so that we can be uniquely faithful to Christ while still winsome and involved with our neighbors.

Missions at UPPC reflect our call to share the love of Jesus at home and abroad—engaging intentionally, spontaneously, and tangibly to address injustice, brokenness, and obstacles that keep people from experiencing God’s restoring peace.

Care Ministries at UPPC come alongside individuals and families during life’s difficult and messy seasons, offering prayer, support, and compassionate presence as we walk together toward healing and the abundant life found in Jesus.

Sunset Christian Preschool (SCP) is a ministry of University Place Presbyterian Church that partners with families in the University Place and Tacoma communities to provide a Christ-centered preschool experience. We nurture the whole child—spiritually, socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically—while fostering curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

MAI provides instruction to all ages and skill levels, including private lessons,  summer  camps, workshops, and performance opportunities.
