Giving a little extra joy to local families for Christmas
In partnership with Families Unlimited Network (FUN) and local schools, UPPC is working to provide gift cards and food this Christmas to families in our community. Your monetary donation will support the purchase of gift cards for families to use for Christmas gifts and other essentials. Volunteer and donation opportunities are listed below.

*The average cost per family for basic needs purchased with gift cards is about $143.
Volunteer
Give families a little Christmas joy by volunteering to serve in one or more of the roles listed below.
Family Calls
December 2-7
Contact families letting them know what to expect and inviting them to our Community Christmas Party.
Package Preparation
December 11-12
Prepare packets of gift cards and other items that will be given to families.
Donate Party Food & Drinks
December 14, 10 am-noon
Donate cookies, hot dog buns, and drinks for families attending the Community Christmas Party on December 14.
Party Volunteers
December 14, noon - 4 pm
Serve in one of the many roles needed to make the Community Christmas Party a warm and festive event. Roles include greeters, cafe hosts, food prep, and many more.
Delivery Volunteers
December 14-21
Sign up to be one of Santa’s Delivery Helpers and deliver bags of food and gift cards to local families! Delivery times coordinated between you and families you are assigned.

Families not connected to UPPC should contact their child's school counselor to find out what assistance options are available. UP schools provide Families Unlimited Network and its partners a list of families requesting assistance.
