Vocal Music

11am Worship Band

The band leads the music for the 11am contemporary service. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7-8:45pm in the Sanctuary. If you are interested in participating, please contact Melinda Tucker (mtucker@uppc,org) or Loren Tucker ([email protected]).

Sanctuary Choir

Our Sanctuary Choir is part of our 9:30am service. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 7:00-8:30pm in the Sanctuary. All are welcome! Interested singers may contact Diana Greene, [email protected].

Women's Ensemble

Alleluia Singers

Singing both sacred and secular music, this group performs for church and community events. Practice is Thursdays from 6-7pm in the Chapel.  Contact Diana Greene, [email protected].
This children’s choir is made up of singers kindergarten through Grade 4. Rehearsals are on Sunday’s, 10:45-11:15am. For rehearsal location and other information, contact Diana Greene,  [email protected].

Instrumental Music

Chancel Brass

The Chancel Brass rehearse Thursday evenings from 5:30-6:30pm in the Sanctuary. This dynamic worship leadership force presents and supports music for worship once a month. Interested players may contact Diana Greene, 253-564-2522 ext. 132 or [email protected].

Chancel Bells

The Chancel Bells rehearse Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:30pm in the Music Room. We present music for worship once a month. Interested players are encouraged to contact Diana Greene, 253-564-2522 ext. 132 or [email protected].

Orchestra

The Orchestral Ensemble supports our worship with music once a month.  It consists of experienced brass, strings, wind and percussion players who teach and perform throughout the Puget Sound area. Drama, Dance, Visual Arts & Media

Drama & Dance

UPPC periodically includes dramatic depictions or liturgical dance to support worship activities. If you have experience or just an interest in either of these disciplines, contact Diana Greene, 253-564-2522 ext. 132 or [email protected].

Visual Arts

UPPC frequently uses creative visual arts to support various worship elements from sermon series’ to seasonal depictions. If you would like to share your personal creative gifts or join others in a team project, contact Diana Greene, 253-564-2522 ext. 132 or [email protected].

Media

The Media Team is responsible for operating the audio, visual, and lighting systems throughout the UPPC campus for services, weddings, memorials, as well as other special functions.  If you are interested in helping support worship through the technical arts, contact Dan Konicek, 253-564-2522 ext. 133 or [email protected].  Training is available for those less experienced in this ministry.
