The Wayside strives to amplify the values of UPPC by intentionally supporting and engaging in community.
What We Do
We serve coffee and offer the community a place to gather and connect with each other. We employ our high school youth, teaching them coffee craft and job skills as they earn money for the annual youth mission trip.
This coffee shop is mission-driven. We support UPPC's focus statement and core values by emphasizing the values below.
The Wayside Values
Be a Welcoming Place
Connect and Serve with Intentionality
Provide Excellent Customer Service
We want everyone to feel welcome to come as they are and experience the love of Jesus.
Emulating Jesus' example of relational servanthood, we strive to connect with visitors and provide a place for them to do the same.
Customer service is an integral part of service. We value principles that promote a positive, efficient, and high-quality customer experience.
We seek to use our space and our employee development to foster spiritual , personal, and professional growth.
Tips and profits are used to support UPPC ministry, allowing us to further support our community.
